The Club meets in the Staff Common Room, Arts Building, at the University of Birmingham. The University's web site explains how to get to the University; the directions below explain how to get to the Arts Building.
If coming by car, enter by the East Gate of the University. If no-one is on duty there is an intercom; just say that you are going to the Greek Club and the barrier will be raised (similarly on exit). Turn right once you are through the barrier; immediately after passing under the Muirhead Tower (43 on the map), turn left. Car parking is available close to the Arts Building (32). The Staff Common Room is on the first floor at the very right-hand end of the building viewed from the entrance (the left-hand end viewed from the top of the stairs inside).
There are bus stops for the University on the Bristol Road, in both directions. It's a five to ten minute walk from the Bristol Road to the Arts Building -- see the map above.
There are also bus stops for the University and University Station on Vincent Drive. Walk towards University Station and then see the directions below.
Trains run roughly every 20 minutes for most of the evening between New Street and University Station. From University Station, turn left; cross the road towards the statue of Faraday; walk down the paved area and then the road. At the T-junction, cross the road, and go under the archway to the right of Staff House (28 on the map). Then walk diagonally across the green to the Arts Building (32). It's about a five minute walk from the station. The Staff Common Room is on the first floor at the very right-hand end of the building viewed from the entrance (the left-hand end viewed from the top of the stairs inside).
If you need more information or assistance with getting to the meeting place, please contact the Secretary.
