Meeting Place

The Club normally meets in Room 139 in the Education Building, at the University of Birmingham.

The University's web site explains how to get to the University; the directions below explain how to get to the meeting place.

By Car

map

If coming by car, enter by the East Gate of the University. If no-one is on duty, there is an intercom; just say that you are going to the Greek Club and the barrier will be raised (similarly on exit). Turn right once you are through the barrier; pass the Barber Institute on your left; the Education Building (R19 on the university's map) is the first building on your right. There is parking opposite.

By Bus

There are bus stops for the University on the Bristol Road, in both directions. It's a five to ten minute walk from the Bristol Road to the Education Building -- see the map above.

There are also bus stops for the University and University Station on Vincent Drive. Walk towards University Station and then see the directions below.

By Train

map

Trains run roughly every 20 minutes for most of the evening between New Street and University Station. As of April 2024, there are changes in how you enter and leave the station. Once out onto Westgate, turn left and cross the canal; cross the road towards the statue of Faraday; walk down the paved area and then the road. Then walk across the centre of the campus, following the map.

If you need more information or assistance with getting to the meeting place, please contact the Secretary.
