Activities
Because of the Covid-19 outbreak, all meetings have been taking place by Zoom. We are returning to meeting in person from October 2022.

Normal meetings of the Club are held on the first Thursday of the month between October and June (no meeting in January). We usually also have a summer social event away from the usual meeting place.
The meeting starts at 7:00 pm for a drink and informal socializing.
The main event of the evening, typically an illustrated talk on some topic relevant to modern or ancient Greece or Cyprus, begins at 7:30 pm. Meetings finish by 9 pm.
Special events during the year normally include 'Vasilopitta' in February and a Christmas Social in December.

Meeting Place
The Club normally meets in a room in the Education Building on the campus of the University of Birmingham.

Membership
While we have been meeting by Zoom, we have not been collecting subscriptions. When we return to meeting in person, the best way to join the Club is to come along to a meeting and see if you like us; we'll be delighted to wish you καλώς ορίσατε (welcome)! We don't charge visitors for their first few meetings. If you do join, the last time we charged, it was £5 per year, with an entrance fee of £1 per meeting.
