Activities
Normal meetings of the Club are held on the first Thursday of each month except in July and August. We generally hold a Summer Social event in one of these months, away from the usual meeting place.
The meeting starts at 7:30 pm for a drink, informal socializing, and when possible a chance for those interested to practise their Greek with a Greek speaker.
The main event of the evening, typically an illustrated talk on some topic relevant to modern or ancient Greece or Cyprus, begins around 8 pm. Meetings finish by 10 pm.
Special events during the year include 'Vasilopitta' in January and a Christmas Social in December.

Meeting Place
The Club meets in the Staff Common Room, Arts Building, at the University of Birmingham.

Membership
The best way to join the Club is to come along a meeting and see if you like us; we'll be delighted to wish you καλώς ορίσατε (welcome)! We don't charge visitors for their first few meetings. If you do join, membership is currently £5 per year, with an entrance fee of £1 per meeting.
